What Was I Thinking? Nathaniel West Edition
There's nothing like going back to a book 20 year's after your initial read to understand just how much you missed the first time and to be glad for the wisdom of middle age (if nothing else). Such a book is Day of the Locust by Nathaniel West. A Hollywood novel in the way Capitalism is an American way of structuring a society.
